Within minutes client of developer replied to the post reinforcing the benefits of Product A and how beneficial it had been for client’s firm. Within a short time there were four or five new posts reinforcing what Client had said, none of the posts acknowledging Product B.

The next week an order was placed for multiple licences of Product A, the software developer tongue in cheek asked “And how did you come across our product?”

Story Two is of a Change Management Consutant. He was a fairly early adopter of blogging in the consulting world (for some reason management consultants have been reticent to adopt the blogging technology). Blogging has led to new business partners, new clients for him. “When we meet them face to face and have a conversation they go to the website so it is more of a reinforcement”.

Blogging has increased traffic to his website (they get 30-40,000 visitors per month).For him blogging is the begnning of a conversation. Not many consulting companies are willing to have that open conversation about what they do.
